OPEN LETTER TO ALL ECWBA CLUBS FROM WENDY COLDHAM:

Dear Club Secretaries and Members,

At the ECWBA AGM last Wednesday, November 13th, I was rather overwhelmed to be presented with a lovely bouquet of flowers, a set of black Cross pens and a rather chunky cheque to acknowledge the work I have done for the county over the last twelve years.  Jill Polley gave me a list of the individuals who had donated towards these gifts and I have written to each of them, but I do not know which clubs contributed and so I hope those of you involved will accept this open letter as my thank you to your clubs.

I have been honoured to be your County Treasurer and have thoroughly enjoyed the company of fellow committee members and bowlers alike. I take with me into retirement many happy memories and have been humbled by the many expressions of appreciation I have received since announcing my retirement. The presentation last Wednesday left me almost speechless – almost but not quite!   I sincerely thank you for the good wishes and the gifts. I will find some special thing or things to spend the money on. Thank you.

I hope you all winter well and look forward to seeing you on the bowling greens next summer.

Kindest regards,

Wendy Coldham
