MESSAGE FROM THE ECWBA SECRETARY

I hope that this finds you all well.

The sun is shining today and my thoughts have turned to the County Friendly Matches and the Over 60s Mixed Knockout Competition.  Both forms are available via the 'Forms' tab, or can be found here County Friendlies Over 60s Mixed KO

If you have ladies who have their Essex Outdoor Badge or are Colts this year, please could you circulate the application form to them

The Over 60s Mixed is a new Bowls England competition and is open to all affiliated members.  The Essex men and Essex ladies will be looking for players who are interested in taking part in this knockout competition.  You do not have to have a county badge in order to participate.  Please ask the lady bowlers in your club to complete the form if they are interested in being considered for selection and return it to Sue Harrington.

Please can I remind you to enter the ECWBA 200 Club this year?  The application form has been sent out and needs to be returned by 31st March to Jenny Hyland. It is also available via the 'Forms' tab or  here 200 Club

I still have some places for the President's Trip on Wednesday 6th August 2025.  Ladies, do come and join us for a trip to Green Island Gardens with a ploughman's lunch, followed by an afternoon performance of the Summer Variety Spectacular at the Westcliff Theatre at Clacton on Sea.

Best wishes for the coming season.

Kind regards,

Jill
